Refund and Returns Policy

At Makaan Fragrances, we take great pride in the quality of our luxury fragrances and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Due to the nature of our products—perfumes that are sealed and packaged for hygiene and quality assurance—we have specific guidelines regarding returns and refunds.
Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any fragrance products that have been opened, unsealed, or used. Once the seal on the perfume packaging has been broken, the product is considered non-returnable.
This includes:
- Fragrances that have been opened, used, or unsealed.
- Any product where the original packaging has been tampered with or damaged.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, we will gladly offer a replacement or refund. To qualify, you must notify us within 2 days of receiving your order. Please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team at contact@makaanfragrances.com with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and photos of the damaged or defective product.
- Once your claim is approved, we will arrange a return, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.
3. Incorrect Orders
If you receive the wrong product due to an error on our part, please notify us within 2 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for the return of the incorrect item and send the correct product to you at no additional cost.
4. Refunds (If Applicable)
In cases where a refund is granted (such as for damaged or incorrect items), the refund will be processed as follows:
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase.
- Processing Time: Refunds may take up to 7-10 business days to process, depending on your bank or credit card provider.
5. Steps to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return for damaged or incorrect products, please follow these steps:

- Provide photos of the damaged or incorrect item for verification.
- Once approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product.
6. Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to an error on our part (such as a damaged or incorrect item), we will cover the cost of return shipping.
- If the return is due to customer error, including orders placed by mistake, shipping costs are non-refundable.
7. Exceptions
Please note that due to the personal and sensitive nature of perfumes, we cannot accept returns for reasons such as:
- Change of mind
- Disliking the scent after use
- Personal preference after receiving the product
